Mr. Tucker -

As you well know, creationists aren't trying to teach their theories as fact in public schools. They do, however, want all theories of human origin taught equally - as theories - without censorship.

Which may well bring us to a point of agreement. As an evolutionist, do you want your faith to rely, or appear to rely, on censorship for its propogation? From what you've said, even a child could see that your theories are superior and only a fool would believe anyone else's, right? So logic would seem to dictate that you would actually WANT all theories to be taught side by side, so that the clear truth of your opinions would shine by comparison and the world could see that only an uneducated believer in Santa Claus could possibly disagree. And it also keeps you out of the awkward position of relying on blatent censorship to force your ideology on the public. Think about it... if your beliefs are correct, then you only stand to gain by a unobstructed comparison in an open arena of thought... right? And instead of forcing people to agree with you by censoring and demonizing everyone else, your beliefs will rise to the top on their own merit, and the only way for that to happen is by teaching all theories equally and letting people see how intellectually superior your opinions are. Surely we can agree on that? After all, who needs Nazi tactics if you're right?! Step forward, join me and other open minded people and help stop government sponsored censorship... will you do that?
