The data base that is now on the Air Force Association website was initially compiled using a card file at the Directorate of History and Heritage, Canadian Forces Headquarters. For reasons unknown, Wilmot had no card and so I missed him. I discovered him only when compiling my book on Canadian AFC and AFM recipients (see website
http://www.rbstudiobooks.com).
The website itself is not under my direct control, and the webmaster works at it only part-time (he does have a real job to put food on the table), so upgrades, additions, and corrections are slow getting on line. The data bases first went on line in 1997; since that date, some 500 pages have been added to the Second World War material. However, the First World War section needs an upgrade. When that occurs, Wilmot will be added.
