* * I can't tell you if there is a Hippert replica but the chance to offer interesting colour schemes for Fokker D.VII aircraft *was too hard to pass by without making comments.

* If for some reason you choose not to go with the Hippert scheme:

* If you really like the cherckerboard motif , Jasta 60 used a tailplane stripped both sides in a black and white checkerboard pattern. Personal markings in black and white. The examples I have seen from this unit were built by OAW.

* The German Navy had some interesting schemes that seem to get passed over and if you want to be flamboyant , from *MFJ1 , *Ltn. z. S. Gotthard Sachsenberg's yellow D.VII with the black diamoned fuselage is very spectacular, unfortunately,at least the top surface of the top wing in yellow.
