This is an update on the work of Team Fokker at the Old Kingsbury Aerodrome in Kingsbury, Texas. Presently we are working on a full-scale Fokker D.VII that I've mentioned in other posts. This past weekend we finished welding the ailerons and mounted them to the top wing. The ailerons still need to have the trailing edge wires installed. We also began remounting other wing fittings to the spars. Internal bracing wires were installed but have not had the proper tensioning applied yet. In addition to this we lowered a previously worked on Fokker Dr.I fuselage from the ceiling in order to finish it as well this year. We may have both aircraft ready to fly about the same time.
