Just a quick follow-up note on this topic.

Noticed on Glenn Torrance's website (www.gtmodels.com) that he has apparently tracked down the manufacturer of these stains, and will be trying them out soon on a 1/4 scale model that his company kits - this should be very interesting.

I've been following this thread since it's my good friend Del Johnson who's model is one of the one's Glenn shows on his website from time to time, as Del gets further along with it and sends him pictures. I also pointed this thread out to Del, and he is very much looking forward to trying the streaked stain method out!
