Yes, I did receive the stains from Koloman this week. I need to say I had nothing to do with tracking down the stains. Koloman successfully did this with the help of Langdon. Thanks to them we have the stains. I will be testing the stains out this weekend and will post a photo. Note the original D8/EV used 1.2 mm plywood to cover the wing and on the 1/4 scale plane we are using .4mm plywood (aircraft grade). I have both plywoods in stock, but the .4 mm is a wee-bit darker; the stains might have a slight difference in hue because of this. Also, Koloman indicated to me that he is not in the stain mail-order business and suggested that I look for a similar product here in the states, which I think is possible. The search begins.
