Alb.J.I 730/17 which was sent to ustria and renumbered 09.03 was finish as follows:
Plywood nose, rear fuselage and fins were shellacked and varnished, resulting in a straw yellow. armoured center fuselage light grey as well as all fittings, cowlings access doors, foot steps, all struts, radiator and plumbing and gun ring.
The upper surface of the wings, tailplane and rudder were light greyish green.
The upper wing tips were dark green to the fourth rib from the aileron at the leading edge and sloped inward to the trailing edge 1.5 ribs.
The lower wigs the inboard portion of the wing was painted dark green to third rib from the aileron, and sloped inwards to the trailing 1.5 ribs.
The elevator tips are painted dark green following the inboard angled balance to the trailing edge just inboard of the second rib from the tip.
The under surfaces of the wings, tailplane and the wheel covers were painted light blue.
The tires are pale grey.
