I found this photo in a Polish book titled "ASY Wojny 1914-18" and it's of Stefan Stec in his E.V "001" (identified as s/n 187/18...don't know if this is correct). Notice the wing streaking as well as the center section padding. I checked my handy Windsock Datafile and in every picture where you can see the center section clearly, this padding is there. Replica builders, take note! Obviously the need for this became apparent after someone creased his head getting in or out of the plane.
