The last time I visited NASM (mid-90's) I remember a sort of shadow-box display with a large model of a German night-bomber, suspended to give the illusion of being in flight. I seem to think it was one of the Giants like a Zeppelin-Staaken, but I could be wrong. I think there was also a Sopwith Comic or two in the display, giving intercept.
Anyone else remember this display? I found it rather impressive.
