This is a very general question, but I'm looking for opinions from those who have studied this issue. My humble resource collection and decal sheet instructions seem to avoid this area concerning Fokker Dr.1's which have nice squared fuselage cross-sections with well-defined corners at the edges.

GENERALLY SPEAKING, would the undersides continue the fuselage color scheme or would it be left in the orginial turquoise? Without documentation or a clear photo I'm kind'a at a loss as which way to go.

As an example, Dr.1's with solid or divided jasta markings on the rear portion of the fuselage, i.e., Jasta 12 - solid black tails & fuselage; and Jasta "Boelcke" split along centerline black & white. There are also several triplanes with solid color tails, i.e., all white (Raben), all yellow (Lothor vR & Klimke) or silver gray (Greim).

Thanks

Rick
