Hello, I'm currently gathering info on the SSW D.IV for the purpose of developing a set of working drawings for a 1/4 scale RC version. I've had some success in finding info on the D.IV, but would still like to gather more actual construction information on the real aircraft if possible.

Does anyone happen to know whether the plywood fuselage planking was butt joined or loverlaped at the joints? Some photos appear to show overlapping, some butt joints. Can anybody help?
