correction to entry #238
The Wright Flyer that Orville supervised the building of in 1947 was a replica of Flyer #3 that is now in the museum at Dayton.
If I decide to go with the wind-tunnel idea ,I think that I will do version #3 as it is not often done in model form, and was as Orville said ,the first practical aircraft.Flyer 2 was basically a copy of Flyer 1 but Flyer 3 has many major modifications and will be more of a challenge to build.
Sorry about the misinformation but I had lost my research notes and only found them today ,exactly where I had left them ,the last time I had left them there.Geez,I must be getting older than I thought. Cheers! John.
