Ox5

The actuating spring/housing&Rocker arm installation went very well, quickly and easly as the advertisers like to say.I used small amounts of super-thin CA for joining the parts.
Fig.5-9 Water inlet piping installed using short pieces of flex tubing and kit supplied piping elbows to connect up the water pump.
Fig.5-10 Water outlet piping .I used copper wire as fake tubing between pipe and intake manifold.Flex tube to radiator will be installed later.
Fig.5-12 Exhaust manifolds. This type of exhaust collector was not on the OX5 installed on the Canuck which had short straight stacks instead.(Like the Spit)I still havent completely resolved the carb heat problem. On the JN4D OX5 installation the carb heat was bleed directly off the exhaust manifold to the carburetor.
Fig.5-13 Ignition wiring. For the fake fibre tube I used 25mm long piece of 1/16th walnut dowel colored with pastels. The wiring was done with steel wire painted black with small pieces of black telephone wire plastic tubing slipped over the end and attached to the spark plugs. The exact positioning of the fake fibre tube is in question. Some pics I have show it strapped to the intake manifold and others seem to place it higher up above the manifold.
Next step is to actually install the engine on the bearers and hook up the Radiator assembly to be cont.....
