The game is afoot...

Greetings, all!

My quest for info on the Crossley Tender and Staff Car continues. Thanks to those that have responded.

Just for the record, the tender at the RAF Museum is not 100% accurate. Judging the specimen against period photos (http://www.crossley-motors.org.uk/WW1.html), the cab is totally wrong.

Likewise for the example at the Australian War Memorial Museum. The cab and canvas cover do not match period photos. Their example is currently undergoing conservation.

The plans in the Airfix quide are pretty accurate in general layout. However, the rear view of the tender does not accurately represent the cargo bed.

I'm pursuing a few more leads. I'll let you know what I find. The Crossley has proved to be a rare animal indeed!
