Laquering L/H wings

I laquered the L/H wings using a mix of 2/3 laquer and 1/3 laquer thinner.I used a small bristle brush and dunked it often in the thinner to keep it soft and free of any lumps.I find that one coat is sufficient as it soaks in and doesent leave any surface shineyness.If any areas develope shine, sand it with 600 or higher sandpaper.I debated using a matte spray laquer but decided against it as it would be to hard to control in all the nooks and crannys and on the brace wires.

Be careful with laquer as it is very flammable .Use a mask or vented fan for the fumes.If you were going to spray the laquer in a confined space I would invest in a sparkless fan ,the same type as they use to vent marine engine compartments. to be cont......
