Do you consider yourself a member of the Legion of Lowe?
Here's a quick test to find out.
1. Would you consider it a waste of time to try and persuade me that my stand in defence of Bishop is wrong?
2. Would you try and persuade others not to engage me in such wasteful activity?
3. Even though you may have doubts yourself, about Bishop's exploits, are you able to understand my point of view?
4. Do you get a kick out of the arguments you see me getting into with others who don't know any better?
If you answered yes to at least 3 of the above questions, then you are qualified to become a member of the Legion of Lowe. Leisure suits are optional.
VBR,
Al Lowe
NOT the creator of Leisure Suit Larry.
(But I wish I was.)

Phil, if you can disagree with me, but answer yes to those questions, that's good enought for me.
Thanks,
Al Lowe

Phil,
That phrase is attributed to Voltaire. What he actually wrote was:
"I detest what you write, but I would give my life
to make it possible for you to continue to write."
[in a letter to M. le Riche, Feb. 6, 1770] The phrase "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it" is from S.G. Tallentyre, Voltaire's biographer.

Rittm, the maybe could go either way, but the "I suppose so" is close enough to qualify for a "yes", so you're in!
I did say that the leisure suit was optional.

Al Lowe

I think questions 2 and 4 are mutually exclusive..
I still rack up enough yes's to qualify for the legion I guess..Please don't post me to Algeria or Dienbienphu.

Oh darn, I forgot to ask:
Are bermuda shorts, black nylon socks and sandals a suitable substitute for the standard Lowe leisure suit????
