A DVII with the best camouflage pattern available. And a little prayer that Bishop, Proctor or Fonk fail to notice me

Merry Christmas to you all!

Vic

Thanks for the correction...I should have stuck with "Kischt mir tuches", but who would have understood?

To all you Fokker's out there,
I would have an all black Spad XIII with a white circle on its sides. Inside the circle I'd have the Ace of Spades (the death card) painted with a skull in the middle of it. On the top of my wing I'd have painted in German so the schnitzel eaters could understand... Have You Ever Danced With The Devil? And I'd carry as much incendiary ammunition as my guns could fire without burning out the barrels. Just so I could burn the Brand X competition (Huns) down.
VBR,
Jim

I would fly a Camel. I would have the US roundlets. I would have Udet fly it and let him fly for a country that would accept him for the pilot that he was.

Okay, okay. It's vicarious. But my Dawn Patrol Camel ace (#1 in the country, thank you) flies a PC-10 Naval Camel (RAF 8) with Bentley power, and if I had a time machine, I'd fly the same thing. Elevators painted bright green. Bright green bands on top of the upper plane, one on each side of the cockpit. A bright green diamond on both sides of the fuselage just in front of the roundel. Leaders streamers on the outer struts. I'm bad, and I know it.

DSO, DSC. 58 combat missions. 48 kills... all DES, none shared.
