For an excellent account of an Australian sniper team at Gallipoli, consult this site dedicated to the Light Horse. Pvt Billy Sing was credited with 150-200 Turks and lived to tell of it.

Gallipoli! Ah, yes another of Britains great victories. I wonder if the sniper learnede to make his claims for kills from Bishop.
