Mukund,

I have a casualty report on LT SCK Welinkar (sic)?:

27 June 1918 seen in combat with a two seater near Peronne 1115 am reported MIA.

Wound up a prisoner of war and died of wounds 3
days later on 30 Jun 1918...May have been a victim of Ltn Fritz Rumey of Jasta 5.

source: Henshaw, Trevor: 'The Sky Their Battlefield.'

Regards,

by the way, this Welinkar was flying a Dolphin for 23 Squadron at the time he was shot down so I do believe it is the same individual you are inquiring about.
