Considering what I found out about it, I don't consider IT shady at all. What I consider shady is what SOME people were trying to purport that it reported, namely German casualties. Which as I found out is totally false.
If you saw some of FokkDR1's stuff, you'd see where he made reference to the "nacht" report in asking why it didn't report any triplane losses on a particular day. As Frank Olynyk points out, it's easy, the Nachricthenblatt report doesn't contain a list of German losses as part of it's normal structure.
So, the report it's self is not shady on that account. As I said, the people who tried to make us think that it would report German casualties on any kind of regular basis are the shady ones.
