Chris,
My name is Jim, I call myself 'ACE' because I've shot down 145 of the enemy planes on The Red Baron 2 computer game. In reality I am in the Navy (16 years with broken service), have studied a lot of history. My favorite era of history to study starts in 1855 and ends in 1945. I've studied alot about the American Civil War from both sides points of view, and the American Wild West, the Boer war (a little), the subjugation of South Africa including the Zulu Wars, and WW1 & WW2.
I'm not afraid to present a controversial point of view as you've probably seen, and am of Irish descent mostly, and proud of it. Erin go Braugh!
VBR,
Jim

Dear Chris,
I am the individual who has past life memories, one of which has to be with no other explanation available as Rittmeister Manfred Freiherr von Richthofen. In my life in the here and now I have B.A. in English literature with a minor in Art. I have been studying Renaissance history, specifically the Holy Roman Empire for the past five years and have been giving historical presentations to school children and some senior citizens. I also have done extensive research on Emperor Franz Joseph of Austria. For the past two to three years I have been gathering information about German WWI aviation since I could no longer ignore the memories that kept surfacing.

Sincerely yours,
Rittmeister

Chris: welcome aboard.
My name is Barrett. Evidently Jeni and I were married in a previous life, but she left me for Baron von Richthofen. Or was it Mary who left me for Oswald Boelcke? It's so hard to tell. Anyway, it did neither of them any good.
Soloed 1965; Univ of Oregon journalism degree 1971; flight time in a coupla dozen aircraft. Full-time, self-employed, high-risk, edge of the envelope aviation historian. My q.v. is filed at:

I'm sort of newer to this site, so here goes the intro...I'm a physician;I dont fly anything;my interests re. here come from extensive WW1 modeling(aint half bad, too, after about 80 kits, not to toot me own horn);I read lots; and I come up with trivial topics on Sundays.....my 3 yr. old daughter is a documented ace, shes destroyed 5 (model) aircraft...I have a dog.
