To everyone.

Anyone know with reasonable accuracy how many, and what type original, and full size WW1 replicas are flying out there? NOT 7/8, 3/4, 1/2 sizes. But full size. Also, are most of these in the U.S ?
Joe Gertler, you probably have a pretty good idea.

I've been considerring setting up a site dedicated to Sopwiths and the building projects now in progress. A natural progression of that would be a site dedicated to full-size replicas, and possibly surviving orig a/c, of all the marques that were involved in the war. This would take a great deal of work and electronic leg-work. Anyone out there who would be willing to participate on said venture? Possibly in cooperation with our favourite ed at Aerodrome?

I have several photos form oldrhinebeck during a trip up there not so long agao. They are up on the web at :

http://members.xoom.com/artattack/oldrhine.htm

Use them if you want as a start, I also have a couple of photos of the SE5a dn Alb DVA and Pfalz DXII at the AWM from when i was in Canberra in January this year. Am happy to pass them along too.

For the Aussies there is a Bristol M1C in Minlaton SA if anyone wants to go and take a shot of that.
