first, let me apologize for being a turd-head toward you.
i personally don't know anyone to do that. still, the fact remains. richthofen was flying too low and was shot by 'someone' and managed to land. i have heard that planes can glide to the ground and 'land' without any help from the pilot. had he not already been dead, he most certainly blacked out or he would have tried to escape.
there are way too many if's, ands, or buts to this subject. its like "who killed kennedy". everyone has formed an opinion and will not be swayed. i believe roy brown shot down richthofen and should not be told i'm wrong by someone, anyone, because they believe different. it will never be proved one way or another. i believe what i believe. you believe what you believe. no harm done.

Sorry Rittm, that just struck me funny. Obviously, Moritz never won the PLM. As you know, I'm not a believer in past lives, though I do believe in future ones. You've been awfully good humored about this whole thing and for that I admire you. Don't worry, I'll get pounded on my new Two Plus Two thread, so I know what it's like! Hope I take it with as much grace as you. If you can't have a little fun around here, what's the point?

About past lifes, I just don't know. It's quite possable. If I've lived before I sure don't know it, of course there's a lot I don't know.

Moritz! That explains it. I would know everyone from Jasta 11 and I could have stolen Lothar's Pour le Merite and ate it. The only problem is that I never see my master in any of my memories. I see a lot of his pretty girlfriend though.
Rittm alias Moritz the Great Dane
P.S. I do know other people with past life memories that were not famous. Actually I have other past life memories where I was not famous. I swear one of the guys that I work with was Leutnant Eberhardt Mohnicke. He looks just like him. He was also a Jasta 11 pilot, but not so well known. The photo freaked his ex-wife out. Hehe.

Andrew,
Way to go!!! Basically that's because they're trying to validate their story. If you want real validity, ask for names of immediate family, some experiences from a childhood that only the relatives would know. Locations of favorite places as a child. The only one that I know of in recent history to do this was a 5 year old boy back in Italy somewhere. He kept telling his folks about his "family" and they lived about 30 miles away from his present location. The little boy could describe in detail features of the place that he'd lived in before, family members (aunt's, uncles, brothers, sisters) by nick names. His present family didn't believe him at first, but after he persisted they ( his present family) checked it out and found out that indeed it was true. The family did have a boy who died quite young, and the young child was the first to ever accurately describe a past life with that validity. It's easy for someone to claim that their past life was famous because all dates, places and etc. can be drawn from books.
There really is no proof that people have lived past lives, but then who can say. Still liked your observation though. Coincidentally my wife and a friend were talking about the very same thing the other day. Her friend said " Have you ever noticed how when somebody claims to have lived before, they were always someone famous, never just a common everyday person?"
VBR,
Jim

I would be the first one in line to talk to my mother or sister. They would remember me. Unfortunately, they are both dead. Also my handwriting matches my old handwriting, and no the officials will not give out the documentation. Ask Al Lowe he knows someone who had the same handwriting situation. I also have lots of memories as a child, and I was a trouble maker with my brother and I got into trouble several times because of it. The only two families that might have any clues of these stories would be the Voss family and the Richthofen family. And as we have been told the Richthofens don't talk to anyone. Got any suggestions.
Rittm
