Thanks to all those who replied to my question regarding how to reduce speed in a Sopwith Camel. If it was true that dogfights were fought at maximum revs how were the tight right hand turns the Camel was capable of executed without ripping the ariframe apart?

Late war aircraft were not flimsy. The Camel was designed to handle the G loadings involved. Why would it come apart any more than any other a/c being operated within its design envelope?

If a Camel pilot didn't get himself killed learning to fly the beast, he probably figured out the maximum amount of allowable movement in the joystick/rudder by the time he got to combat. It's a matter of practice until it becomes reflex.
