I am researching Capt C W Snook who flew for No 5 Squadron 1915 to 1916. Shot down 1916, prisoner of war at Clasthal, 1916-1917. Exchanged for German officer and returned to England in 1917. Squadron details 1915 to 1916 required.
It's an unusual name, I seem to remember someone called Anita Snook, a pioneer woman aviator. In the 1920's she taught Amelia Earhart how to fly, any relation you think?
It may be of help
Paul
