About the death of Lothar

Is there anyone who can tell me how Lothar von Richthofen, the lucky guy in the war, was killed in the flying accident? What was he doing at that time. I also want to know his life after the war.

Lothar was piloting a converted bomber(a LVG C VI}and had 2 passengers on board, one was an actress from memory. He was approaching Hamburg when his plane suffered engine failure.

The plane clipped a row of trees and flipped on its back.Lothar was extracted from the plane alive but died on route to the hospital.
