You have all helped out in the past for which I am grateful.
Now does anyone know much about color schemes for Hannover CL IIIs? They served until the end of the war and I assume that most if not all had camo wings but what about the fuselage? I have photos that are of no help. Can you help? Thanks. |

Most Hannovers had the fuselage, vertical stabilizer, lower horizontal stabilizer, and wing center section (all plywood covered) painted with a lozenge pattern mimicking the printed fabric. The fuselage was usually oversprayed with what is thought to be a very dark blue that obscures most of the pattern. (Seems like a lot of trouble!)
