Fellas,
*** I have been logging on the this website as a way to find out about the men and machines that dueled in the war torn skies during the First World War, because the expertise of those who frequently patronize this site surpass mine. I am dismayed that it is being used for petty, personal attacks, and useless spouting off. Some people will say things just to get the ire up of others. Ignore them!** I want to learn more about the brave men (from ALL sides).** I am not concerned with their ideology, and I'm sure they weren't either...they were fighting for their fellow flying mates and their country.** I'm counting on all of you to educate the rest of us with your vast knowledge without "mixing it up!"

with regards,
McCloskey

Mac, I'm afraid the forum has been like this since around the end of August. Like you I and others deplore the situation and have said as much and often, but I'm afraid it's a case of waiting patiently until the fever passes. Don't give up, not yet a while.

I too want to learn the history we all come here to learn. However, when I am refered to as "you people" in someone's reply, I take it as an insult.
I apolgize for offending anyone with my dip into crude language. However as Judge Judy says "Don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining!"

I apoogize to anyone I may have offended with my dip into crude language.
However, as Judge Judy says,"Don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining!" (her words, not mine...)
