Flying in Flanders
interesting that an aviator in the allied forces was assigned to Military Aviation in sept 15 yet didnt see action until 1917.
Willy certainly doesnt spare the brass hats,noting twice how the chiefs of the air force never once flew,they actually waved off the King of Belgium when he was taken to see the front.
Lets em have it too for the state of the Belgian air force in WW2 as well.
A good read altogether, explains the "Balloon walking" bit too.
