For others who have been following thread, I provide information that has already been sent to David, who initiated the thread, namely, the existance of a book, AIRMAN'S SONG BOOK: BEING AN ANTHOLOGY OF SQUADRON, CONCERT PARTY, TRAINING AND CAMP SONGS AND SONG PARADIES WRITTEN BY AND FOR OFFICERS, AIRMEN AND AIRWOMEN MAINLY OF THE ROYAL AIR FORCE, ITS AUXILIARIES AND ITS PREDECESSORS, THE ROYAL FLYING CORPS AND THE ROYAL NAVAL AIR SERVICE. It was compiled by C.H. Ward-Jackson, published by William Blackwood and Sons Ltd (Edinburg and London), 1967, SBB number 8518 005 X. It has words and music (or at least similar tunes when set to the music of more orthodox songs). It consists of 267 pages, and on these, pages 8 to 86 date from the 1914-1918 period.
