Hoping someone can Help.I have aquired a Aviation Print Deplecting a WWI-SpadVIII.Standing beside it are five 94th aero squadron Pilots(Hat in the Ring. One of which is Capt. Eddie V.Rickenbacker.I have'nt put Names with the others as of yet.One other is a Capt,Three are Lt's.The Print is artist signed/Numbered/Copyrighted (R.Wilson).It is titled (The First Warbirds).I have Had no luck in finding any other Prints by this Artist
Any help in Finding info on Him would be great.I have had one fellow inform me that the Prints was Commissioned from the Oil Painting.I have no info on when the Painting was done.It is suppose to be located in an Museum.Any help on finding it's location would be even Better.I have had one Gallery look at the Print. The Gallery owner informed me that the Hand signature and The one on the Printing Area of the print match and are Authentic. The Gallery owner informed me also that the print was Made within the past 15 years.By the Paper type, and the Printing Material was of a Good Quality. If anyone knows anything about this and can relay it to me .I would be forever greatful..Dave.
