I believe the correct spelling is :

Count de Bernard de la Frégeolière (Bernard being not a first name, but part of the full name).

I read an article in a German newspaper of 1931. A Hauptmann Zahn met a Frenchman (at the winter world-champion-ship 1931), he had met during the war. The French had been shot down by the Germans, and Mr Zahn made it possible to inform the mother of this 18,5 year old Frenchman. For this action he, Mr Zahn, was given an party.

Therefore I wanted and want to get information about the special Frenchman - and the German, too.
