A builder is looking for a Sopwith Snipe prop to use as a template for a reproduction. Numbers LP5250 and LP5300 might work also. It never hurts to ask.

I know of a gentleman in Canada who owns a an original Snipe propeller. As much of a shame as it is,it was however cut in two or three pieces to allow it to be brought back after the war. It was rejoined using copper bands, I believe. I don't know if getting in touch with him might solve your problem? If so, I'll be glad to contact him and see if it would be OK to pass on his details. Another possibility; what about Kiger's Snipe plans, don't they have the dimensions for the prop? Btw, the Snipe that you'r building is that for a client or? VBR Maxwell Crestborne
