Help! I have an engraved Naval Seaplane Pilot Badge which is engraved on the reverse to a Lt. z See F. Ilgmer at Station Helgoland. Does anyone have any information on him?

Hi
Fritz Ilgner was not a real Lt zS but but Lt zS dR. He was born 8 May 1890 and promoted this rank on 17 Oct 1915.
Here are some notes of his career from the Marinekalender:
Nov 1917 II Seeflg.Abt, Stab d.kom.d.Flg.d.Flotte, Beob., Seeflg.St. Helgoland, staffelfuehrer bis Ende.
Not so much!, but its most possible to find the date he was awarded the Naval Badge in the Tagesbefehl des Marineflugchefs....
The War Diary of See.flg.St Helgoland is also available from the National Archiv in US.
The possible combat career is perhaps also find in some notes in the Naval "Nachrichtenblatt"
I think I have seen a photo of him somewhere, but cant find it at the moment.
VBR
