I have a Wound Badge Certificate to a Flieger O. Feuchter of FA23(lb) dated 25 sept. 1918. Does anyone have any information on him or this squadron? What type of aircraft were they flying late in 1918? Where were they based? Thanks, Jack
Hi Jack
FA 23 was stationed at Guise aerodrome at the German Marchoffensiv in 1918. This was within 18 German Army. They seemed to stay with this Army during summer 1918 but I dont have other areodromes. There exist a book of this unit the last Year of combat(se notes on Hannes question) but I dont have noted Feucters name from the book. I did not either wrote up what aircraft they flew. There are about 25 names pilots/observers in this book for this specific period.
Perhaps Hannes can find information on him in the Saxon records..?
