Are there any living World War I aces in the U.S. or any other countries?

Regards,
Andrew.

The last living US ace of WW I died in 1993. None of 'em made it to 100.

Steve,
I have been searching for WWI vets of any variety for the past several years. This past year I have managed to contact several pilots of WWI. None were aces. At last count there were only 8 American WWI pilots left. That was last year. Since then I know of one that has died, probably more.
The last Ace I know of was Cecil Lewis the author of Sagitarrius Rising (sp?). I think he shot down 8-9. If you haven't read the book, I would recommend it. It is one of the best out there.
By the way if you or anyone else find living pilots of WWI, please contact me.
