For a change of pace, Mr September is not an official ace, but rather a genuine ace. He's OffStv Eduard Prime who flew with Jasta 78b throughout 1918. From July through October he claimed 7 victories, two of which were credited (DH-9s on 20 July and 22 August). In fact, he snacked on DeHavillands and actually shot down five of 'em in addition to an unconfirmed victory (his first) over a SPAD on 12 July and another which force landed 27 October.
Prime has never been recognized as an ace but TJP clearly shows that he bagged every DH he claimed, so here's acknowledgement to the lad--better late than never!

Anybody know of any other official nonaces who in actual fact actually were actual aces in actuality? We're actually talking about actual aces who actually destroyed five e/a but did not actually get actual credit for what they actually did.

I have not immediately an example at hand but I enjoy your "Ace of the month"-contributions.
Thanks for the information.

So what are you actualy trying to say Barrett, I mean actualy? And does your use of the term "Mr September" indicate that we can expect a calander in dubious taste? Actualy.

I was just teasing for benefit of the ladies who may grow tired of allusions to superbabes dipped in chocolate--or nothing at all.
"Mr. October" will NOT be a baseball star.
