Ernst Udet documentary soon

Ernst Udet is next in line on the new documentary series on Discovery Channel. Until now, we've had Erwin Rommel, Erich von Manstein, Friedrich von Paulus and Wilhelm Canaris, all men who resisted Hitler/Göring a couple of times. Next week udet and I think Wilhelm Keitel will be featured. I don't know if the American/British etc. Discovery Channel usually features the same programmes, but at least for some Europeans this could be interesting. The udet docu will be featured next Tuesday, 24:00 hours and will continue with the second general (Keitel?) until about 01:45 - it's a long evening! But it's certainly worth it. So far I'm rather pleased by the docu's, despite having some obvious faults.

I hope you are right for those of us in the states. Right now we are in a 24-hour a day Kennedy marathon. Historical figures aren't generally of interest here. You have to died stupidly or tragically (a near monopoly by the Kennedy clan), been a misunderstood Hollywood celebrity or a member of the Mafia to get profiled. The Udet profile sounds fascinating ! We are still waiting here for the Barker bio ! Thanks though for the info.

I'm thinking about asking my dad to tape it. I wouldn't mind showing it to any visitors to my country (but they'd probably have to put up with Dutch subtitling!).

About that Kennedy-clan. it's still on the news here. Yesterday, some clowns from a country where tobacco and light intoxicating substances are very cheap, promised to remove the curse of the Kennedy-family by doing some rituals comprised of voodoo, Christianity and Joost knows* what else!
