I don't usually enter the forum via the home page but just noticed that The Aerodrome's counter rolled over 251,000 recently.

Peter: AAARRRGGGHHH! Even if it isn't true, the Tempting Fate Syndrome now has the theoretical possibility of veracity. Maybe we'd all better ration outselves to extend the life of the Forum to the critical half million mark, lest the TFS curse arise and smite us again!
That means no further threads containing the words "Bishop", "von," "OOC," or "greatest."
(Sigh) It'll never happen. We're gonna melt down again in 2002...
Doomed, doomed, doomed.
