I'm looking for any members of the 'Fight in the Skies' society from the '70s. Any old 'Warbirds' out there drop me a line.

CONGRATULATIONS! You found us! The Fight in the Skies Society is very much alive. I started playing in '87 and there are several hundred, maybe a thousand players around the country. We've consolidated into squadrons in Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, St. Louis, Pheonix, Kankakee, etc., etc. Since TSR published the 7th edition in the 80's, the game is better known as Dawn Patrol. We'd love to hear from you, and maybe we can link you up with a current group. Also be sure and hit two web sites:

http://users.erinet.com/43977/games.htm

This is the Indy Squadron site, and you can see our link page to hit the official Dawn Patrol web site. Be sure and say hi to us on the forum, and ask any questions you might have there.

Hello Michael!
I remember your name tho I can't remember meeting you. I have played FITS since 1976. Which players are you trying t locate? I just received a mail list for many of the Society members in the Great lakes area from Mike Carr. Let me know.

OUTSTANDING!!! Thanks for the reply.

I haven't played the game in many years, and dropped out of things in the late '70s. I was very active in the society between '69 and around '78 or '79. Do you have Mike Carr's email address? I poked around the home site and couldn't find it (although I found his 'snail mail' address). I've got to go find me a copy of the game so I can rejoin this bunch.

Thanks again for your reply.

Mike
