Hello,

I guess this question would be best asked of those that are German or know how German records are kept. Due to recent memories that have surfaced, I would like to be able see the documentation on Karl Bolko von Richthofen's birth. Can anyone give me the address that I need to write to inquire about this information?

Help would be greatly appreciated. What I want to investigate is of a rather personal nature and it means a great deal to me. Thank you.

Rittm

Dear Rittmeister: One solution to your problem is to write to the Kommodre of the Richthofen Gescwader, Wittmund, Germany. If they do not have brith information, they can supply you with the address of Richthofen's nephew, whose name is Manfred von Richthofen. Heinz Nowack was the CO six years ago. He may still be there.
