Can anyone furnish me with a list of all the RFC units that flew in Italy, what type of aircraft they flew and when they entered/departed the front?

Thanks,

Vince

Try obtaining a copy of OFFENSIVE PATROL by Norman MacMillan, very good book about the war in Italy from the RFC/RAF and RNAS point of view.

Thanks, John. That info is most helpful!

I'll try to get hold of a copy of that book, it's one I've never heard of before.

The Flying Camels by Wg Cdr Jefford, History of 45 Sqn also covers very well 45's time in Italy,
published privatly and still available.
