A VooDoo2 or greater card will let you see the 3D graphics for one thing.

The other question, of course is what speed processor do you have.

Got them. Thanks. I guess that completes the stock collection. Looking forward to your new 3D planes

Irun RB 3D fine on a 233 machine with 64megs of RAM. But you need a good video card. I use a Voodoo 2000 PCI.

DJ, that is certainly enough to sell me on the video card! My processor is a Celeron 466... not up to speed with the Pentium's I guess, but I don't think its a slouch by any means.

So what does everyone think? I need the Voodoo card thingie, and 128 meg of RAM, then I live happily ever after... right?

Right........If you only want to play the stock game. By increasing your RAM, you can then fly my "advanced" series of aircraft. VERY realistic compared to the stock planes!

Make sure I got this right... if I upgrade to 128 meg of RAM, THEN I can fly all your way cool airplanes... correct? I'm at 96 meg now.

Low Rez planes, definitely! High Rez........maybe.

If you have 2 Voodoo2's SLI'ed together, most likely. (Or a V3 or above).

Each system is different, and there are sliders in the game you can ajust as well.

I have all the stock aircraft and ahe advanced D2, D3 and Snipe running on a K6-2 400(Overclocked to 450) with a Voodoo 3 and 96 Megs of Ram. I still get good framerates with the resolution turned way up. Only when you get five or six of the advanced planes on the screen in front of you the framerate takes a knock, still quite playable though. I think the Voodoo card is the most important part of the equation
