I am doing research into my Great Grandfather, Corpral William Carter who joined the RFC as a rigger on 26/05/16 then being assigned to No. 60 sqd were he stayed untill his discharge 05/03/19. I am looking for photographic source material for No. 60 sqd for this period. Can anyone sugest any books or web sites were they may be found.

Cross & Cockade (GB) ran a serialised history of 60 Sqn (by Sqn Ldr Joe Warne) in volumes 11 and 12; A J L Scott also wrote a history of the squadron called Sixty Squadron RAF (click on the "Books" button on the left and follow the links); Biliy Bishop flew with 60 Sqn so his son's (William Arthur Bishop) book "Courage of the early morning" might contain some information.
