Anyone in Phoenix area?

Hello everyone. I was wondering in there were some Great War lovers in my area, Maricopa County? I'm 15 from Chandler, near Phoenix, Arizona. I'd like to meet anyone that likes World War I, particularly girls So e-mail me or reply if any of you out there are in my area, I'm kinda bored with modern people!

A trip to the Champlin Fighter Museum at Mesa's Falcon Field is well worth the effort.

I have been to Champlin's several times, I even applied to work there even though I was 14. But they are moving in a short amount of time, so I decided not to. I'm not sure what exactly you want me to do there?

The Champlin collection (minus the FW-190D) sold to the Pacific Museum of Flight last month. Nothing will move until a new annex building is constructed at Boeing Field, Seattle, and that can't be finished in less than 2 years; probably more like 3.
Disassembling, crating, moving, uncrating and reassembling about 25 airplanes is going to be a huge chore. The Phantom (on loan from the navy) will be a major-major evolution.
Any volunteers?

Volunteers for what? I live half an hour away from the current museum, but I can't go to Seattle...

Manfred: feel free to disregard the previous; just kidding. It is possible, however, that volunteers may be needed for lifting BHOs when it comes time to disassemble and crate the machines. The Phantom is a BIG honking piece of metal.)
