my name is von eck....i am searching for a German pilot who fought in WWI and came from the area of Elberfeld, Germany or vicinity...This man had a cousin who was an american soldier, who was my great-grandfather...there is a picture of the two of them right after the war and my family is not sure of the German pilot's name....he is known to have a blondish kind of hair and is distantly related to the Von Eck family of Elberfeld, Germany.....any information is helpful

thanks

von eck
