the multiple postings have spurred my memory to recall that the very first flying machine, the Flintstone flyer (aka the Barney copter), is available in model form. It sells for 2 rocks.

The first Australian made and powered aircraft to fly was built and flown by John Duigan, later a flight commander with 3 Sqn Australian Flying Corps. There is an excellent website devoted to Duigan and includes many photos and plans of his aircraft;

There is also a three-view of his aircraft he flew at Mia Mia;

and;

That is asking for a scratchbuild, right Peter
