Got to agree with Kirkby not enough bums on seats to warrant a new film,mores the pity.Mind you how many gladiator film fans were there out there last year?They make these things then get the audience,so perhaps we can live in hope.
My favourite is 'Aces High'though I laughed out loud when the Fokker joined in.While in the Officer's Mess I realised I'd never seen one in colour with the gun going so I watched it again and all was well!!!
It's funny how this thread got a bit venomous,come on chaps cool down with a damp towel.

I enjoy watching the "Blue Max" warts and all. The best parts for me are the flying scenes. Until recently Hollywood has not even tried to be real when it came to clothing, and equipment.
As far as Barrett goes, I have several of his books, and I believe he's the number one avation writer around.

Number two, Richard. Number one is the person or persons who wrote the original monographs he paraphrased.

Okay, okay OX5, go on then, tell us what exactly it is that you've written. You seem to have been angling at this all through this thread.
Regards, John.

Has Barrett nicked CP3O's scribblings?

Sheesh...I go away for a couple of days and look what happens. All because some anonymous troller was born without a sense of humor. (BTW: if Elke Sommer has made a Towel Movie, I'm all for hearing about it!)
"Those who can, do. Those who can't, troll."

My point exactly, dipstick. Stop trolling Tailhook, 'cause you are going to run into a brick wall and you will always be sucking up for acceptance you won't get.

OX-5;
I am not a tailhook member, but I am a former military pilot. Barrett has made himself a very good name with others besides myself. I do believe that he is the editor of the Tailhook Magazine. If that's not acceptance I don't know what is.
