Does anyone know who was the last pilot to be shot down on the allied side in the First World War? I know of a pilot from 210 Sqd RAF who was shot down on the 10th November1918 and died of wounds on the 13th . Was he the last victim?

My guess would be Lt A M Rosenbleet (USA) who flew with 84 Sqn RAF. He went on patrol at 14:25 on 10 November and was shot down west of Marienburg. He was taken prisoner.

Lt J E Pugh, 210 Sqn, is listed as killed in action on 10 November at about 09:10 over Mons.

Capt D R G Mackay DFC, 55 Sqn, was shot down during a bombing raid upon Thionville-Metz and died of wounds the following day. I haven't got a time for this casualty.

I don't know who was shot done by whom but it is generally accepted that the last German victory of the war was credited to a Fokker D.VIII pilot. I don't know his name
