OffzStv.Edward Prime was assigned to Jasta 78b from Jastaschule Nr.1 on 18 January 1918 to the eow. He was credited with 7victories but only 2 of these were confirmed victories.
Jasta 78b served im the German Army DetachmentA in Alsace. First at Bursheid Aifield and later at Buhl(umlaut u). Jasta 78b was equipped at first with Alb.D.III(OAW),then the Pfalz D.III,Alb.D.va and later with the Fok. D.VII
